2010 IS A GREAT YEAR TO SERVE AND TO SPONSOR

It’s always a great year to serve on a Walk and to sponsor a Pilgrim, but this year it’s even better.

For the 2010 Walks the registration fee has been reduced to $75 for Pilgrims and Servants.

Times are tight for everyone, and the Community is investing a large part of the budget surplus to make things just a little easier in 2010. We encourage you to take this opportunity to volunteer to serve and to seek out Pilgrims.

The Spring Men’s Walk takes place from March 4‐7, and the Women’s Walk takes place from March 18‐21.

Extra Training Opportunity

There will be a 102 training in the Tallahassee area at Salem United Methodist Church this Saturday, February 13th, from 9:00 am EST/8:00 am CST until 12:00 noon EST/11:00 am CST. If you have not received training to serve on a walk, this is an awesome opportunity to come out and be trained.

Next Gathering

The February Gathering will be at First Baptist in Abbeville, AL at 6:00 pm EST/5:00 pm CST on February 20th. Directions can be found at http://www.bbwe.org/emm/gatherings/February20.htm. There will be a 102 training that will begin at 3:00 pm EST/2:00 pm CST. The board will meet beginning at 4:00 pm EST/3:00 pm CST. Come out and renew friendships that began as you served with folks from across the BBWE area.

Prayer Vigils

Prayer vigils for Walk #55 and Walk #56 are now available online. It's as easy as going to the website, selecting the prayer vigil, finding that perfect slot (or slots), clicking on the word vacant and filling in your name and, optionally, your email address. Prayer is the bedrock of a weekend and strengthens the pilgrims and team as they respond to God's call on their life. The links for the prayer vigils are BBWE #55 and BBWE #56.

If you have not checked to see if your email or address information is correct, please follow the directions below so that you won’t miss any of the information on upcoming walks, gatherings or any of the news about what’s going on in your BBWE community.

Here are the easy steps to update your information.

1. Go to www.bbwe.org
2. Click on Community Members
3. Fill in your email address in the space on the page.
4. Fill in your password. If you have not created your own password, your password will be agape unless you make a change.
5. When the Community page appears, scroll down the column and click on All About You.
6. When your information appears, you can add, change or delete any of the information in the fields
7. When you’ve made the changes, click on Up date Your Information and the changes will be made.
