Greetings Brothers & Sisters!
Do you feel called to work with young people? Do you feel the need to get more involved in your Big Bend Community, but don't quite know where? Chrysalis may be the answer! If you would like to get involved with your Big Bend Chrysalis community, which operates under the BBWE Board as a standing committee, we encourage you to join us.
We have several positions to fill. As we are a committee, we don't have elections for general positions, and elect our "executive committee" from within our group. We are especially looking for a male and a female youth representative to serve on the committee. The committee is responsible for planning the Chrysalis Flights, ensuring that we are working off of the model set forth from Upper Room, and helping the youth of today come to a more personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Those of you who have worked on a Chrysalis weekend know some of the joy that working with the youth, and watching their strength and faith grow, know how awesome this experience is.
We do not meet monthly, and we have loads of fun while helping to Strengthen our Relationship with Christ within the Chrysalis community. Come on over and join us!
