Team Training

Being a Part of a Walk to Emmaus Team

A special class takes place at Centenary Camp for team members the weekend before each Walk.  A Team Training leader will review the philosophy and purpose of the Emmaus/Chrysalis Team experience.  There will be a review and discussion of the "Fruits of the Spirit" and how they apply to you being a part of a Walk to Emmaus Team.

In the class you will come to understand the Biblical principles behind the various parts of the weekend which will include and cover the following:

  • A brief history
  • The Silent Servant
  • The Canon of the Emmaus/Chrysalis Team
  • The Wagon Wheel of love
  • The Nine Fruits of the Sprit
  • Our purpose for each of the Three Days
  • Sponsorship as the first act of Agape
  • Biblical references for all parts of the Walk

    • This is also a time for those who have previously served on a team to share their experiences, joys, and blessings in being a servant for our Lord, Jesus Christ.
